Special Master

Amy L. Petersen serves as a Special Master to complete child-focused assessments of domestic relations matters.  

Depending on the duties and authority granted by the Court, Amy will review relevant documents, talk to involved providers/therapists/specialists, meet with the parents/guardians, interview the children, and evaluate various programs being administered or proposed. Amy makes or recommends findings of fact on important issues regarding children that need to be decided by the Court.
